Teacher Appreciation Daffodils
When: First Week in May
Each year, GIEF celebrates Teacher Appreciation Week by providing daffodils for Georgetown Central School students to present to their teachers.
With flowers generously donated by local gardeners, students arrive at school and choose a daffodil to give to a teacher as a simple gesture of gratitude. This cherished tradition celebrates the educators who inspire our students every day while encouraging children to express appreciation for those who make a difference in their lives.

Annual Giving Appeal
When: Late Fall
Each fall, GIEF shares its Annual Letter—a look back at the year's accomplishments and the impact made possible through the generosity of our community. It's an opportunity to celebrate the educational experiences, grants, and scholarships your support has helped make possible, while inviting friends and neighbors to continue investing in Georgetown's learners.
